Amazon the global online retailer commends Transalis OpenEDI integration.

Amazon.com., EDI Team “We would be happy to provide a few comments to you on the Transalis OpenEDI™ integration process with Amazon. It was a pleasure to work with your team. The quick response to emails and quick turnaround of documents was greatly appreciated. Amazon expects vendors to be integrated within 4 weeks. Some take much longer than that. The integration for our supplier Underground Toys took just two weeks from start to finish and included AS2 testing which tends to take other vendors much longer. Even with having 2-3 test files per transaction before passing the Amazon validations, the speed at which the requested changes were made, was very commendable. Thank you”.

Gartner’s recently published “Supply Chain Survey 2010” has stated that in order for Supply Chain leaders to gain competitive advantage they must first understand the software delivery models that are available on the market.

No longer is traditional in house licensed software seen as the solution to supply chain demands.  With the emergence of SaaS cloud computing the playing field has been levelled, with Gartner quoting “because SAAS is priced by user or transaction, small and medium-sized businesses can access capabilities previously available only to larger enterprises that could afford multimillion-dollar on-premises licences and implementations”

Transalis has seen a sharp rise in the work it is doing for its more innovative customers who now have the opportunity to create and control business processes that previously were not seen as reality helping to improving the way they exchange and analyse data.

Alternative delivery models for supply chain solutions can, however, provide new or improved capabilities to all users several months or even years sooner than the traditional, on-premises licence, Transalis expects the trend it is seeing in the small to medium sized businesses to continue as we deliver the tools needed to take advantage of Supply Chain Technology and drive business forward.

Transalis welcomes new ideas and opportunities so please speak with us directly to find out how we are “Changing the way companies communicate”
