Transalis, the leading provider of global OpenEDI and freeVAN EDI solutions, announced continued revenue growth up 60 percent on its previous year in its final 2010 results.
The UK based company, which provides integrated and web-based OpenEDI Managed Service and mobile data supply chain solutions to high street retailers, household brands and SMEs, welcomed many new brand customers and provided innovative new services to existing customers. Growth was attributed to increased take-up of Transalis SaaS Software as a Service and Transalis Cloud Managed Service offerings, adding large supply chain customers including pan-European retail and manufacturing brand A.S. Watson Group, wholesale gifts and home decorations company Present Time UK, British clothing brand Aertex Clothing, and global sports brand Maximuscle UK.
Paul Simpson, Joint Managing Director, commented on the company’s continued high growth “Businesses of all sizes are seeking major cost-savings in the current economic climate and looking to their IT solution providers and business advisors to help them realise these savings by rationalising their existing systems and removing outdated systems and redundant pieces of middleware in favour of solutions like Transalis SaaS and Cloud managed service solutions, and we expect this trend in increase considerably during 2011.”

Continued investment in R&D to produce innovative new service offerings also increased sales revenues. Transalis is rolling out its freeVAN EDI Supply Chain service to European retail organisations to deliver EDI documents with zero VAN traffic costs. The service enables B2B business-to-business electronic document exchange between any trading organisations, from the largest retailers to the smallest independent suppliers.
Transalis also became an IBM Business Partner and Apple Developer making its OpenEDI services available on iPhone and iPad, expanding its mobile business data sharing offerings, allowing business critical data to be accessed by mobile users anytime, anyplace, anywhere with the ability to integrate data with systems in fixed locations at any time.
Reviewing Transalis expectations for 2011, Adam Swanson, Transalis business development manager, commented “The powerful combination of Transalis OpenEDI and freeVAN managed services allows large companies to trade electronically with all suppliers for 100% supply chain EDI enablement with considerably reduced costs, higher productivity and optimised processes plus managed services for web, integrated and supply chain EDI.
