PLAY.com the online retailer rolls out Transalis web-based OpenEDI.

Transalis has rolled out its web-based OpenEDI service for 200 PLAY.com suppliers. The new web-based EDI service was developed specifically to meet PLAY’s updated business processes for the complete EDI order-to-invoice cycle.

The new PLAY OpenEDI service is provided to PLAY’s suppliers at no charge to the supplier and allows every PLAY supplier to gain the benefits of trading by EDI with PLAY.

Play EDI Team, OpenEDI is one of the easiest & most flexible EDI solutions available. Suppliers are trading with Play using the new Play OpenEDI Portal within 24hrs. And, suppliers can integrate with their back-office or retail systems. The new Play OpenEDI Portal has been specifically developed for ALL Play suppliers. Option 1. The online version, our suppliers benefit by viewing EDI documents securely & easily online. Options 2. All the online benefits of Option 1 plus the added benefits of a Data Link for suppliers to integrate EDI documents with any existing EDI, accounting or retail systems.
