Posted 1st March, 2011

97% of Transalis customers rate OpenEDI as excellent with extremely high customer satisfaction – the key success criterion, which is constantly monitored by Transalis management.

Transalis considers customer satisfaction and continuity of service of utmost importance. Our thousands of customers regularly exchange millions of EDI documents with their trading partners through OpenEDI. OpenEDI is the Transalis flagship application service; certified, tested and in production use for electronic enablement with the major brands, retailers and department stores in the UK. Since inception of OpenEDI not a single order or invoice has been lost and service availability is in excess of 99% including scheduled times for maintenance and upgrades outside normal business hours.

In addition, Transalis is commended by the UK Department for Innovation, Business and Skills (BIS) as a secure and reliable electronic platform for the UK’s business community. The UK Government’s Business Minister said “Transalis OpenEDI is a tremendous product, this is great news for any UK business & typical of the innovation the BIS are delighted to support.”

Transalis servers and networks are hosted in secure, purpose built multi-million pound data centres in London Docklands with further secure fail over data centres around the UK. Servers are subject to constant monitoring, online and offline archiving whilst backup of all data is performed on a regular basis. OpenEDI and related EDI services are further based on a state of the art infrastructure with extended secure facilities located in the USA to assure our customers of secure EDI communication.

This infrastructure provides multiple points of data recovery, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), redundant power feeders and generators, redundant halon fire detection and suppression systems, and multiple communications entry points are just some of the inherent secure infrastructure characteristics which our services are based on.

The Transalis Continuity of Service has proved invaluable to all our larger customers with turnover of between £100m – £200m and we look forward to welcoming your organisation, whatever its size, to our rapidly growing OpenEDI community.

Amazon.com., EDI Team. We would be happy to provide a few comments to you on the Transalis OpenEDI integration process with Amazon. It was a pleasure to work with your team. The quick response to emails and quick turnaround of documents was greatly appreciated. Amazon expects vendors to be integrated within 4 weeks. Some take much longer than that. The integration for our supplier took just two weeks from start to finish and included AS2 testing which tends to take other vendors much longer. Even with having 2-3 test files per transaction before passing the Amazon validations, the speed at which the requested changes were made, was very commendable. Thank you.
