EDI vendor delivers freeVAN EDI service to remove VAN traffic operational overheads.
Transalis, a global solution provider for electronic data interchange (EDI) managed service solutions, announced the launch of its freeVAN EDI Supply Chain service, at the GS1 UK Annual Conference.
The provider said its freeVAN EDI service will allow large businesses and organisations (hubs) to securely transmit EDI documents with zero value-aded network (VAN) traffic costs for the first time.
The service will enable business-to-business (B2B) electronic document exchange between any trading organisations, from the largest retailer to the smallest, independent supplier.
