Transalis certified as AS4 PEPPOL service provider

Supply chain automation specialist, Transalis, is just one of a handful of UK tech firms that has been certified as an AS4 Peppol Provider, meeting the highest level of international public procurement standards.

Transalis provides the technology that underpins essential electronic data exchange in the government and health sectors, and has gained this coveted seal of approval for doing business across the world.

It means the company is a fully trusted cloud-based data management service partner for health providers and contractors working across Europe and in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

“This is great news for us,” said Aniello Sabatino, Transalis co-founder and Joint Managing Director. “It fits hand in glove with our aim of enabling our health sector customers to enjoy efficiency improvements.
“It supports all aspects of electronic procurement and supply chain management including the exchange of purchase orders, despatch advice and invoice messaging.”

The certification is formally for the AS4 standards of PEPPOL, standing for Pan European Public Procurement Online.
PEPPOL is a multi-national framework of technical specifications designed to make disparate tech systems interoperable.
Transalis’ success with PEPPOL follows its certification last year for the separate ISO 27001 data security standard.
This was another vote of confidence in Transalis’ systematic approach to ensuring customers have a reliable, secure platform for automating transactions, so minimising the need for costly manual and paper-based processes and associated errors.
Transalis launched a new, fully managed supply chain solution for NHS trusts, hospitals and contractors at the 2019 GS1 UK Healthcare Conference in London.
