Transalis certified by Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been certified to the Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme.
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed and industry-supported scheme that guides businesses in protecting themselves against cyber threats.
There are five basic controls within Cyber Essentials that must be met for certification. When these are properly implemented, they help to protect against unskilled internet-based attackers using commodity capabilities – which are freely available on the internet.
The five controls under the certification are:
• Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
• Secure configuration
• Access control
• Malware protection
• Patch management
This certification demonstrates to our customers and partners that we take cyber security seriously. By successfully going through the Cyber Essentials assessment we can now demonstrate that we have taken the steps to be fundamentally cyber safe.
